Queensland President & National Vice-President, NCC
General Manager Luke joined the staff in 2008 and runs the Queensland branch of the National Civic Council, managing the business side of the organisation nationally. Luke developed an interest in the history of Christian social thought during his theology degree, after completing a bachelor of science.
With a passion for speaking up for the voiceless in society, Luke has campaigned against radical laws that seek to ignore the humanity of the unborn child and pushed for better recognition of the unpaid work of parents caring for their young children.
Luke believes recent financial crises demonstrate the need to explore distributist and co-operative models for local economies to strengthen them against the excesses of globalised markets and provide better job security for families.
