To many, including this writer, the outcome of the election in the United States came as a surprise. Campaigning, Trump looked the stronger and more assured of the two candidates.
As it turned out, he wasn’t — and he lost decisively in both the popular vote and the Electoral College. With the calculating benefit of hindsight, Donald Trump, I think, lost, because of his totally incompetent handling of covid19.
For goodness’ sake, 400,000 American dead! …
