The Federal Budget is supposed to be a young woman’s dream. According to Treasurer Josh Frydenberg, the policy “ more parents, especially women, the choice to take on extra work.”
The Government seems to believe such announcements will make young single women like myself planning a future family jump up and down for joy. “At last, I’m empowered! I can have kids and someone else will look after them so I can keep working at all hours!”
