There are many films out there, but not all of them can be well-managed in a single review. Either there’s too much in them, or too little, or perhaps what makes them interesting is their side themes or their background.
Marlowe, for instance, is an interesting film. It has a good cast and a good crew. It is engaging enough, but there is something in it that makes it incomplete – that makes it not work as well as it might have.
