Concerning Cardinal Pell I feel very strongly that Justice Weinberg correctly found the convictions of Cardinal George Pell to be unsafe, that is, not justified by the evidence when applying the test requiring proof beyond reasonable doubt in criminal cases. I have already commented on the convictions of Cardinal Pell to The Australian, Quadrant, and News Weekly, but I feel that rejection of his appeal against conviction by a majority of the Victorian Court of Appeal justifies further comment….
