Pacific plate tectonics
Great to have read Peter Purcell’s article in the September 7 edition of News Weekly (“Political posturing ignores true forces shaping Pacific islands”).
The leaders of those Pacific islands, and the Prime Minister of New Zealand, could do with a lesson in plate tectonics and submarine volcanology. Congratulations to our Australian Prime Minister and his staff for rejecting their ludicrous demands for us to stop mining coal.
